Raised on vegemite and sport in Melbourne, Australia, I first earned a degree in Sports Science at Deakin University (Melbourne) before later discovering an outlet for my creativity in drawing and design. After returning to University to study Multimedia at RMIT (Melbourne), I then ventured across the ocean to immerse myself in the art, culture and fast-paced media agencies of London Town.
After years of cloudy skies, crazy late working hours and too much English Breakfast tea, I greatly needed to be inspired again. With much of Europe still to experience and explore, I decided to move to Spain, slow down the lifestyle a little and soak up the warmth and wine.
As a multi-disciplined artist, I prefer spending my working and non-working hours in Photoshop and Illustrator but have skills within the whole Adobe suite for completing many different projects. You can also view my older work and illustration work. I sell my sewing creations and illustrations in my shop mirandajean.com
I currently live on the coast of Spain and feel right at home in the Spanish climate. When not glued to a computer screen I keep myself busy illustrating, sewing, learning Spanish and not taking life too seriously.
